Continue reading »]]> In April Block Paving Surrey installed a stunning new drive for clients Mr and Mrs Smith of Montagu Road, Datchet near Windsor, Berkshire.

The new driveway was laid using Bretts Regatta Silver Haze 60mm blockpaving with Alpha Charcoal keycurb edging.

In addition, a new block paved 3 tier step to the front door was built which coordinated perfectly with the drive.

Continue reading »]]> BPS completed work in March on replacing a drive for client Trevor Wilson in Ruscombe Gardens in Datchet, Berkshire

The project involved the removal of an old tarmac drive and replacing it with Regatta Silver Haze 60mm blockpaving with Charcoal Alpha keycurb edging.

The tarmac driveway was broken up and removed from the site. Following this, backfilling was completed with type 1 limestone to a depth of 200mm condensed and prepared for paving.

All outer edging was cemented on a mortar mix underneath including the kerb edging.

The drive was layed in 60mm Regatta Silver Haze paving in 4 sizes to create a stunning drive.

The client provided feedback:

Continue reading »]]> In December, Block Paving Surrey undertook a project to intall a new patio area to the rear of the property of client Katie Nutley in Waldegrave Park, Twickenham. The new patio was built using Indian Sandstone paving slabs in Forest Glen colour from Bretts.

Continue reading »]]> BPS undertook the building of a new driveway and brick wall to the front of the property belonging to Stephen Reynolds in Rydens Road, Walton Thames, Surrey.

The replacement driveway was constructed using Aura Bronze Fleck 60mm block paving with Aura Bronze Fleck keykerbs to create stunning flower beds.

Mr Reynolds kindly supplied a glowing testimonial following completion of the work:

Continue reading »]]> In October, Block Paving Surrey undertook a replacement driveway job for client Alvin Wilson in Grosvenor Gardens in Staines.

The new drive was constructed in Alpha Autumn Gold 60mm block paving following the breaking out and removal of the existing concrete driveway. The new reshaped design produced a stunning new result with which the owners were delighted, supplying the following testimonial:

Continue reading »]]> In August, BPS removed an old tarmac double driveway, replacing it with 60mm Omega paving in charcoal for customers Peter Nelson and David Smith of Datchet, Berks.

Details of the project were as follows:

• Fully excavated and backfilled with type 1 limestone sube-base
• Laid Brett Omega 60mm paving in charcoal with Omega keycurb edging flower beds and step
• Installed drainage
• All cutting was done with angle grinders
• Finally brushed in with kiln dry sand and consolidated.

The client was happy, saying:

“They were excellent throughout the job which took three weeks to complete, as large driveway. Hardworking, pleasant and great job done. Happy.”

The job involved the laying of natural sandstone slabs as well as steps that were edged in granite blocks. This gave the rear aspect of the property a stunning new look.
